Biography
A native of North Carolina, Jason McCree Gentry grew up in a small town in the foothills. In 2001, Jason set his roots in Charlotte graduating from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte with both a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture and and Bachelor of Science in Architecture in 2006. Having a strong affirmation of the built environment, he has enjoyed watching the Queen City grow and rejuvenate its urban core. Jason primarily focuses his attention on urban living in the Charlotte Uptown and surrounding neighborhoods of Myers Park, Eastover, Dilworth, South End, Plaza Midwood, NoDa and Wesley Heights. He enjoys combining his architecture background with his real estate skills to create an unprecedented experience for his clients.
Since becoming a licensed Realtor® in 2010 Jason has made a name for himself in the Charlotte market, being named the Vane Mingle Rookie of the Year in 2011 and identified as a Rising Star by the North Carolina Association of Realtors® in 2012. He takes extreme pride in bringing a new level of professionalism to the industry and is constantly finding ways to educate himself
he is a Certified Distressed Property Expert (CDPE), Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design Accredited Professional in Building Design & Construction (LEED AP BD+C), At Home With Diversity Certified (AHWD), and a Certified Military Residential Specialist (CMRS). He is actively involved at the Charlotte Regional Realtors® Association, serving on many of the committees, chairing in 2013, and being part of the core for Realtors® Care Day. Jason is an active member of the Charlotte Chapter of the United States Green Building Council and has also served on the Real Estate Building Industry Coalition.
