Biography
Kirk Williams brings over two decades of experience in commercial real estate, with a career spanning brokerage, asset strategy, and leasing leadership nationwide. He began his real estate journey in 2001 with Cushman & Wakefield in Atlanta, starting as a generalist before shifting his focus to retail leasing in 2003. His career has since included senior roles such as Vice President of Retail at Lincoln Property Company and Director of Leasing for Brookfield Retail Properties in Chicago.
In 2020, Kirk joined Transformco, where he now oversees a national portfolio of more than 200 retail and mixed-use assets. His mission is to reposition and unlock value across the company’s diverse real estate holdings. His leadership has been instrumental in driving strategic partnerships and repositioning projects, including the redevelopment of the Novi, Michigan site.
Originally born in Jamaica, Kirk is a proud Midwesterner who grew up in both the Quad Cities (Davenport, Iowa) and suburban Chicago. He now lives in Aurora, Illinois with his wife and two children. His daughter recently graduated from the University of Miami (Florida), and his son will be attending the University of Oklahoma.
A lesser-known fact: Kirk was a scholarship football player and two-year starting outside linebacker at Vanderbilt University—an experience that shaped his team-first, high-discipline approach to leadership. He later earned his MBA from Loyola University Chicago’s Quinlan School of Business.
A lifelong Chicago sports fan, Kirk is a Cubs supporter first—but he’ll root for the White Sox when they’re not playing the Cubs.
