President & CEO
T. Dallas Smith & Company

Dallas began his commercial real estate career in 1982 under the guidance of Thomas W. Tift Jr. with Atlanta Air Center Realty. Dallas served as the firm’s exclusive landlord rep from 1983 to 1987. In 1987 when the market shifted to a tenant’s market, Mr. Tift and Dallas started First Brokerage, Inc., a pure Tenant Representation firm. In 1989 Dallas decided it was time to move to a much larger firm. That year Dallas became the first African-American broker to work for Cushman & Wakefield (C&W) of Georgia. While at C&W he served local and national companies with their office leasing needs. In 1995 Dallas pioneered the brokerage division for H. J. Russell & Company and represented many Fortune 500 firms with their real estate acquisition needs.
