Thomas is the Investment Programming Officer at the Invest Alberta Corporation (IAC.) He supports programming initiatives and acts as a connection point between IAC’s international network and IAC’s business development sector leads. Using his knowledge of government programming and applications processes, Thomas provide concierge support to investors and helps connect them with the people they need to make decisions in Alberta, Canada. He actively engages with various internal and external stakeholders, including the Government of Alberta departments and agencies and various regional development groups to continue to build a compelling story that supports IAC’s collective vision and mission to attract global investors to his province. Recently, Thomas has helped attract a $10 million dollar investment into Alberta, bringing 250 jobs to his local community.

Outside of work you can often find Thomas exploring Calgary’s restaurant scene. His other passion is football, where he dedicates his time coaching a local high school and women’s team. A fun fact about Thomas is that he is a coffee connoisseur, and one day hopes to open a coffee shop.
